It’s How We’re Mining That Matters
New Zealand still has a fundamental need for coal, and it’s our responsibility to supply it in a way that is safe, beneficial to our communities and conscious of our environment. It’s how we’re mining that matters to New Zealand.
The Mining Money-Go-Round
Mining has a down stream effect on the communities it operates in. For Bathurst supplier, Johnson Brothers, this means paying $3 million of wages back into the community each year. Everything earned on the Coast gets put back into the Coast.
A Community Built Around Mining
