Takitimu Coal is an open cut mine located in Nightcaps. The mine is moving into its next expansion phase we are looking for two people to join our maintenance team.
The successful applicants must be trade qualified, or have the relative experience
Heavy Diesel Mechanic/Mechanic
The Mechanic is responsible for repairs and maintenance for all mobile and fixed plant onsite, with a commitment to comply with Health, Safety and Environment Standards. The successful candidate will ideally have recent experience in a similar position, and be looking for an opportunity to join a progressive team to develop their skills and experience.
Light Vehicle Mechanic/Serviceman
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to expand their skill base, and is looking for a change. Being part of a small dynamic team, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing and fuelling of all mobile and fixed plant, as well as maintaining our light vehicle fleet. Training will be provided
Both positions report directly to the Maintenance Foreman and indirectly to the Mine Manager.
